thats the ergodyne isnt it? sweelee used to bring it in, if im not wrong, but they stopped i think. u can't find it on the ibanez singapore section anymore.

The ergodyne is in Swee Lee Showroom.. I saw 1 there just a couple of weeks back.. unless someone snapped it up at the sale!

If you intent to get the ergodyne, be sure to get the newer ones with the Edge Pro II trem, not the old models equipped with the horrid Lo TRS.

Its lutite or something along that spelling... plastic... its not the same plastic as the original Chromeboy though... very similiar spelling

I never heard one before... but from what i read in jemsite... the plastic body is like basswood... very neutral kind of tonality... lets the character of the pups shine thru. But of course... its only what I read lah.

the EDR470EX has been discontinued WEF 2005. here's some specs:

Neck: Wizard II
Bridge: Edge Pro II
Body: Luthite
Pickups: Designed by EMG

if you see other bridge models than the above Edge Pro II, these are the pre-2004 units.

I think Luthite is still wood, it's something like an artificial kinda wood. Man-made for electric stringed instruments. Well, I guess it won't matter much with those EMG designed pickups anyway.
