East Coast, Old, & Acoustic

As the title implies...

I'm an early-40's Canuck interested in meeting some like-minded musicians / singers looking to get together for some informal jams - just for fun to start, but if things start to gel, perhaps we'd work towards putting a set together and finding a venue. The priority is just to get together and share some songs & see what shakes out. (I miss jamming!)

I play acoustic rhythm guitar and do some singing; would love to get into some harmonies and/or find an acoustic lead, maybe find someone to provide some hand percussion, but I'd love to get some multi-instrumentalists on board as well (flute, violin, cajon, mandolin, banjo, tambourine, harmonica, what-have-you.) I'm into open-tunings and would love to meet someone like-minded to bounce some ideas off of.

Musical interests include yer standard classic rock and moves up through the years (largely skipping a lot of grunge, rap, and metal) - but I'm into taking cover songs and re-working them into something completely different.

Well, unfortunately my phone just froze up on me and I won't be able to take it in until the weekend - and then I'm away on holidays for a week or so. Best to drop me an email as above, maybe we can put something together for early November.
