Earpiece to Amp too soft..

i connects the earpiece thru a plughead convertor.
i'm using an AMP by the name of Johnson and a cheapo earpiece ( works fine with mp3 players tho ).

I'm just wondering if the problem with it is coz of my amp or my earpiece. i turned everything max and the sound is still darn soft.

anyone knows whats wrong??

actually,

get a better earpiece, headphones is possible, those not cheapo one la i think, 40 35 bux or something, i use a audio-technica for my korg pandora, works fine with amps too.
