my 535q rocker is too loose.. it sorta 'wahs' too easily. if you noe what i mean..
i checked beneath the rocker and noticed that there's some sticky stuff lodged in the gear rocker..
apparerently not much sticky stuff is left..
i assume that this sticky stuff creates resistance which makes it not too easy to wah, which is a good thing
any material can be used to substitute that sticky stuff? was thinking of using chewing gum
or any other suggestions?
thanks a bucket load

chewing gum?!

DUDE!!UR THE MAN!!

email dunlop, dun put things unnecessarily into your wah...

noisy equipment should be treated with utmost care.

erm it's not the sound.. it's just that there's no pyhsical 'resistance' when i step on the wah. so like it goes from no wah mode to wah mode very quickly.. tt's the thing tt's bugging me.. erm how do i exactly mail them?

the sticky stuff's the lube for it to go in and out smoothly la, so the gears won't cock up. gotta adjust the tightness of the screw by the side. though I haven't tried it yet..

On the footswitch. Could give it a try I guess.

ja zats ze vun. requires some special screwdriver though, I looked through mine. chrome, put on the floor who can see. chin chai get any colour la.

hahaha. u guys are really funny. but anyway to answer the question to his problem i need a allen wrench torque adjustment which is provided with dunlop wahs. this is a T shaped tool with red rubber grip, the tip of the wrench is long and is meant to adjust how loose or how tight u want the rocking action to be.

aha! zis is ze clever zwun!! just leave it la so nice to rock forward and backward. then can create crazy sounds by just lifting your foot off and stomp back hard on it again let it open and close.

^^
i'll ask my drummer for the allen wrench (he's the one who sold it to me)
and i tot chewing gum was the solution
thanks alot!
