anyone has a recording of drums that sounds good. I want a framework to work with while mixing.

preferably the recording can be separate for each art of the drum ie, tom1, tom 2, snare etc etc. ahaha

I have the same questions as blueprintstudios... but if you are just asking for reference recordings of good drum sounds in pop / rock music, then you may want to check out the drum sounds on any of the Police albums... or some of the Phil Collins stuff... amazing drum sounds thanks to their producer / engineer... Hugh Padhagm.

well framework as in like a good reference to use as a gauge when i eq the drums on the mixer.

It would all depend on the style of music you are mixing.

No point comparing a Phil Collins drum sound for a heavy metal record. You get my drift yeh?

Some good drum sounds are all over the place. Just pick a band you like and hear their record - that simple, but yet so hard! haha, thats what the sound engineer is worth.
