i actually kinda like the throatiness on labrie this time around..suits the music more.

also love how rudess's library of sounds seems to have expanded. good stuff.

oh yeah now that u mentioned

i like the timbre of the thunder at the start of the album. the sound engineers did a really good job =D haha

very well mixed as expected, comparable to dark passion play.. lucky not another death-magnetic's-more-than-maxed-dB

definitely better labrie voice in this album overall

which video r u referring to?

labrie's voice compared to past albums esp pre six degrees.. don't get that kinda hearing fatigue, might be better vocal melody, might be due to better mixing, but definitely have something to do with him not hitting notes near the high F# till piercing quality. :twisted:
