Double Pedals Help

@ CC, are you refering to playing double pedal ? I believe it has got something to do with one leg being stronger than the other.

I used to have the same problem as you, furthermore, I also experienced having the right leg sounding louder than the left. Thus I kind of incorporate exercises that will put more work on the left leg, ie. leading the with the left or incorporating rudiments into exercises.

Doing rudiments on the legs in fact help alot in building control in my opinion, if you legs can do rudiments comfortably, it shouldn't have any problems doing straight 16s notes.

oh yeah. i rmb alfe asking during the meet up about heel toe-ing. he asked why when people can do straight 16th notes at 220bpm, but not 440bpm with heel toe. haha. it took me a while to set my thoughts straight to answer your question.
when i was in my school's concert band, we used to practice single stroke and single stroke accents. so it would be like 1 n 2 n 3 n 4 n. we used to take these up to 200 bpm. but some reason or another always had to put the metronome back by 20bpm when ever playing the accent parts... i suppose its something to do with mind over matter. as in, you're unable to think about doing something that requires you to make a significant second motion at such high speeds. i'm sure that can be accomplished through vigorous mental and physical training. but us layman who don't need to go at 440bpm, really don't bother with such vigorous training. hope that answers it. :D
