Does Maestro do nut replacement jobs?

Hi, I would like to enquire if Maestro does nut replacement jobs (probably a yes, but asking does no harm haha), and if you guys do, how much is the price to install a new brass nut (meaning uncut)?

Thanks!

Hi Marksman,

Yes we do replace all sorts of nuts, Edder will tell you I'm the nut mechanic! haha! Jokes aside, a brass nut really wears out nut files and overall much more work required than other materials. Do you really want brass for the tone or just the look. If it's the tone, you'll do better with tusq or bone. They are a cheaper option as well.

However if you must have a brass nut, you shall have it for $90. Inclusive of the nut. Tusq and bone would be between 50-70. If the guitar needs to be setup, additional fees would apply. Thanks for the enquiry.

KC

Hey Reyrey,

Do I know you from somewhere? Anyway, most repairs would take 3 working days. Hope to see you soon.

geez, thats quite fast yeah, erm you dunno me bro,and i think i nvr met you b4,hahaha,erm,btw,which maestro should i go?the esplanade or the peninsula one?

Rey,

As you can see from the workshop photos, our workshops are dedicated workspaces situated away from the retail stores. Both our esplanade and excelsior stores serve as drop off points for our customers and we collect the repairs daily. Most of the time, we can't do it on the spot for you, however, what we can assure you is, your guitar get's the utmost attention when it's at our workshop as we don't have to attend to the retail crowd.

I'm only at the stores on Sat. So if you want your guitar to be autographed by me, Sat is the time to look for me
