Does Brand REALLY MATTER?

birdman,
i`ll get the samick and replace the pickup to Dimarzio X2N with 1megpot as vol...think that should provide juice to ur metal sound..

use the rest of ur money to get podxt or something...

i own a jackson ..but dont think much of it..
anyway u interested , i might me selling it???
btw..where u spot this samick??

you click on the links on page one. for pictures. The samick at parkway parade, quite old, but ok lah. At robert piano, 3rd floor at the corner.

About your jackson, can you post the specs please. I just want something with floyd rose, 24 frets, made in Korea, Japan, or US. I will still change the pickups to EMG's.

What model is it, and the specs, thanks.

haiya, this superpunk ar, cause trouble everywhere ar.....

If you really want the samick, bargain to about, 600+
Cuz the other day i went, they say $900, when i was about to leave, they say $600 can. They desperate, to clear stock, they are selling samicks which are not produced anymore. The ones they have were made in the METAL era, hard to find one with cool graphiqs nowadays.....

hey ...thanks for the link...

my jackson letting go ard 300...
curently..no pics of it...can let u test if u want...no obligation to buy...

currently the pu`s are evolution neck and X2N..
But i will be keeping the X2N..sorry bro..

if you insist on body graphics & can do without a floating whammy, the BC Rich body art series offer decent guitars & they aren't even $400. then proceed with your EMG swap, hopefully everything would toggle about the $550 mark.

again if that Geroge Lynch graphic is a must have, ask Davis whether they'll be bringing in the LTD version of the real thing, which debuted at this year's winter NAMM.

Juz to let ya'll know....the GL model with all the Graphics (if ya'll taking bout teh one w/the bones/skull...whatever ya'll call it across teh whole neck...base on teh F series) its a baritone I believe

hi, e mail me some pics if you can, and how is the condition? and the specs, like fret number, where is is made in, what colour, original floyd rose? when you bought it, and you are gonna take out a pickup? neck or bridge position? Scratches? dents? chip offs? Jacksons dont usually have pickguards. I wouldnt mind a few minor scratches which arent so obvious.

I've been comparing ESP's and Jacksons for quite ahwhile now, ESP's seem to be a rip off. Both are made in Japan, They dont have much models other than their signature series.....

ESP guitars aren't supposed to have too many offerings off the shelf. they have revised their production strategy to cater to upper end models & artiste endorsements. this range also caters to custom orders.

the mid-priced ESPs are renamed 'LTD', made in Korea & has more models to choose from.

today, Jacksons are made in the USA/ Jap. before Fender acquired the company, some entry level models were made in India.

and i'm thinking of also getting a line 6 spider II 2x10 amp. Its got a wide range of amp modulations on it, or should i just get a marshall combo?

hiya Birdman,

Saw the Samick but i`m not impress at all...
Btw i think u tried to PM me..but nothing written..
abt the Jackson if ur interested ..well u can test it...no problem..

For bigger amps, i saw the line six spider series at city music, seems quite impressive. What do you think of it? All the amp modulations seem good.

Line6 is now the benchmark in amp modeller tehnology, if you think it serves your needs, it'll be a good investment. 8)
