DIY Amp

At the suggestion of so many forummers and friends, and admittedly at the insisence of my bank account, I have decided to just do a simple 1 amp -> 1 speaker situation (thx for the clarification in terminology guys <insert blushing emoticon here>).

Since that was the plan anyway, it can be enhanced from there when I am ready to start the 4 amp 4 speaker situation (seekz: for ease of use ah).

I'll probably be going for a bassman clone, tweaked to fit the situation. Destructos, I've searched those forums and sites before (except sloclone, never heard of it.. will check it out tonight) and have found it lacking in quality tips. I'm following the schem from drtube as I have found it to be the most.. i dunno... respectable? Perhaps it's all in my mind.

It's not really a mixer because it's not mixed down to anything. It's all isolated.

Also, because of work (sigh, it's always torn apart by work ain't it), this project will be pushed back.

Will update once I "accidentally" bought some "extra parts".

if you want to try building a Marshall JCM900 instead, i have a picture of the circuit layout. Just tell me if you want it.

Actually, that was on of the first real amps I wanted and the first diy amp i wanted to build.. Till I found out that Buddy Guy used to use a Bassman. heh.

quality(Buddy Guy) > quality(Eric Clapton) WHILE versatility(Buddy Guy) < versatility(Eric Clapton).

oh.. and... "John Mayer" > "all". haha.

I would appreciate the schem mate. I may use it for one of the other amps. Just for versatility.
