Dirt pedal + boost?

hey guys, thanks for all the help so far! I went down to Ebenex today to audition a few pedals and decided to get the crunchbox. David at Ebenex was a really big help and the range of effects there is like omg. haha.

Heh, dude did you try out the Crunch box? I left ebenex at 5 plus and i tried the Crunchbox out. Great stuff. Great stuff! Will try the fulltone OCD/Fulldrive2/Tube zone the next time.

yup that was me! haha I got the last unit. im quite happy with it, but the funny thing is, my marshall valvestate doesn't take the crunchbox very well for some reason. I tried the OCD and it was quite good too. I preferred the crunchbox though.

j_m_s : i was there at around 11.45 and left after about half an hour or less. i didn't stay for too long haha. the joo chiat area is pretty out of the way for me, so yeah.

beez mod mt-2 definitely not for church. haha. tried few weeks ago at ebenez. sounds pretty wicked man. their 3 mods, 1st one is clipping where the dist u get is very high output and compressed (sound quality is not lost even though at very hight vols) , 2nd mod is unclipped, where it is very high gain and loud. forgot the last one though. haha. :lol:

Hm, people over here seem very enthu about drives hahah.

hm i thought the beez mod mt-2 would be a very generic distortion instead of the usual fizzy high gain nature of the metal zone pedal. and oh, the last setting that you forgot is probably the normal mt-2 settings.

the crunchbox has been great so far. doesnt lose its tightness and definition on the lower registers of the neck, even with gain maxxed out. its probably the most awesome distortion pedal ever hahaha. oh and i got a chance to try out the OCD pedal too, which was quite good too but out of my budget haha.
