wokay,i'm getting a second hand Dime Distortion...that person is selling me at 180...

so basically,
i need opinions on the Dime,i tried it before..but i just need more people's opinions..

and yeah..is the price reasonable?

i like the "chug" it gives me...just damn addictive...even a DS-2 cnt satisfy my hunger for "chug" after i took my first try on a dime...

its quite new according to the seller..and havent been used alot...

OMG!!! how the hell?! damn!! i got caught...

i'm so sorry ooooohhhh holy edder... :prayer: no one can ever beat ur dodginess...

however I must say.... the Metal Muff is definitely CHUGGA CHUGGA and you can get it brand new below the asking price of a used Dimebag.

also.... i get pinch harmonics everywhere with the Metal Muff + Tele.

how's that for dodgy?

during diamond darrell early days till dunno when....

dimebag swears by RANDALL solid state amp distortion.

well,a metal muff is better than a dime,is that what u're saying edder? assuming u know what type of sound i like...

i never assume what anyone would like but if i were to play metal and if i'm totally not in the mood to build a metal pedal, i'll use the metal muff.

can't diss the dime... for one very good reason. never tried it before! hahaha...

dime distortiom i own 1 so i thought ill just comment a bit

the gd: excellent heavy distortion pedal with great chuga
3 band eq to control the sound + mid scooped switch

The bad: Its 18v. Need extra adaptor or specialised power source eg. dc brick
Only usable for high gain applications. Sound is only nice after the gain hits 12 o clock. Why ? go to the store and try and ull see what i mean

conclusion: Should u buy this? Yes only if u love hard rock and heavy metal type sounds. And of course if u love to chug. If youre looking for something versatile search elsewhere. Was actually thinking of replacing this because of the power supply issue. However theres something about this that keeps me goin back to it. Heavy mojo perhaps?
