do you how much does the "2 version of it cost?
and is it necessary to get a strap lock for it?
i know it is screwed in but is it secured to hold the strap from the top without it unattaching itself from the guitar?

What do you mean? It will never come off once it's screwed in. I bought mine at Swelee for $26. Too bad its too long for me so i changed to planet waves lock strap (another great locking strap)
