Different type of wah pedals

i'd suggest the dunlop 535Q ...
it's one of the most verstile wah, in a reasonable price range... ~
6-way switches, volume, boost & Q knob ~

I'm using my favourite Vox 847 modded with true bypass.

If you're looking to get any of these well known wah pedals, it'll cost slightly more than 200. It'll be better of searching classifieds for these

Any cue for the vox. I used to own a 535Q but I feel it's abit too treblish for my liking.

i own a 535 (without the Q),
got it modded to have both yellow and red fasel, with a Full Tone Pot.

I love the yellow fasel ...
got that classice vox wah sound ... ~
real smooth and thick "waaaa ah"

The red fasel is great for cutting through high dist ...

but i prefer the lower groowl of the yellow at a lower setting ...
lol ~

Whats true bypass?

"The term "True-bypass" refers to a method of wiring a pedal's stomp switch such that when the pedal is in bypass mode, your clean signal goes in one jack and out the other. The signal does not pass through any active circuitry that can corrupt your original tone. Many pedals employ a signal buffer instead of a true-bypass design, unfortunately if this buffer is poorly designed your pedal will "suck tone" when in bypass mode."

I have heard gd things abt the 535q... But vox sound more vocal generally, but u need to true bypass mod it, cuz it sucks alot of tone.

If u can get ur hands on budda wah, by all means.. Its like a more silent n vocal vox, n its true bypass.

Clyde wah n RMC is currently out of ur budget.

U can try to get a gcb-95 n mod it to vox specs, but dont expect it to sound super gd... it makes a lousy wah sound gd, but not sound like the above mentioned ones.

I'm also looking for a wah. Where can I get a vox wah nowadays? I went to davis and they say they dont carry it anymore.

Keep in mind wahs are VERY VERY subjective. All the comments you see here, take only those which highlight a particular unit's functionality, features. Not tone. Wah tone is very subjective, meaning you gotta try it for yourself, and let your ears decide. If someone likes this Wah, doesen't mean you will like it too. Just to clear the air.

Applies to every other pedal out there as well.

check this wah out guys!

Cool, Wylde Signature Wah. When I get a Signature pedal agreement, I'm gonna make a Moo pedal. One that modulates your sound into a musical "Moooooo." . Absolute Madness.

Hmm thanks for the advice guys. I saw 1 dunlop wah at music team(the shop near luther) going for 170 bucks, didn't check out the model though, any good? :)
