difference between 22 and 24 frets guitar

that article makes some sense except for the part where the pups on a 22 fret guitar sits under an anti-node..

anti-nodes can occur anywhere depending on which fret / note we are playing and similarly, nodes. they are not stationarily fixed on a certain spot of the guitar's scale la dey..

ah!! screw the science, neck pup sound different means neck pup sound different la

Mad: Totally agree! It's interesting sometimes to understand a bit better, but the point is to enjoy playing and making music, not science project :)

Tell that to Tele players. Esquire rabids insist that the neck pickup only gets in the way of string vibration and thus tone in their one pickup Esquires. The neck pickup of a regular Tele is under a hypothetical 24th fret, thus a harmonic or node point or whatever. Thus with a magnet underneath, it robs string vibration at a perceived important point so using the back pickup on a Tele is less mojo or tone-y or more mids or less treble rob or whatever.

I do agree =] But I love all Teles.
