Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my DD-3, however, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the DD20 can do those "bleed" notes that continue to echo (or fade) after you clip the delay off right? Like as on the BOSS multi fx

i browsed the manual just now. one of the instructions was to always unplug the ac adaptor and input jack when the device is off?

Only if you're using a battery, you need to unplug the input jack so that it doesn't drain. I don't recommend using batteries at all on the dd20, they won't last very long. You don't need to unplug the adapter if the power is off. You could probably get away with leaving it on 24 hours too though.
