The Texas Instruments firewire card is properly the only brand that works well with Windows for DAW... a must for any using firewire Windows Music creation.....
 
yeah.. and some states TI oem but doesn't work.. i collected many... sigh..
mine was connected to powercore T1, that has become a redundant item cos we are all heading towards 64bit era.. keeping up with technology is killing the musician..
i built this machine 1.5-2 yrs ago for $3200, that's without the software and UAD card, thou i love the card, im looking to get the apollo twin coming our way soon, if i can get this sold =D
oh btw, its a express pci firewire card, and this is a really FAST machine.
