Surely u guys may have noticed by now those cute looking Danelectro pedals.
They cost quite cheap (around $30) and have a few varieties. Would like to hear from you guys who own it, or have tried it. Is it good? What are the pros and cons? Since the pedals are quite cheap...
:D
I however think they're good for collecting. Haha...
:D

I have a Danelectro Fish N Chips. Much quieter than the Boss GE-7. Has a plastic casing. I tried the Fab Metal and it's an awesome sounding pedal!.

Go for the Cool Cat Series, metal casing & true bypass. Much more durable. I've tried the CoolCat Chorus, syiok!. Going to get one soon. Yup, I agree with you. They are like collectible pedals.

In a nutshell, for a cheap pedal, it has good sound quality. Ignore the plastic casing or go for the CoolCat Series. :D

for the price that you are paying.

its pretty good tones. especially for the modulations

tried the tremolo, chorus and flanger before.

I woke up to eat before fasting. Actually I didn't eat, drink tea.

More knobs, more versatility. Unless, you know what sound you want. ;)

yeah...i agree wit u guys here...
the danelectro pedals have a good tone..
tinkin of buying the cool cat chorus wen have the time..
used to have the fab chorus but sold it away...
so im sure that the cool cat chorus will sound better...
heard good reviews bout it...
maybe u guys can give opinions on the cool cat chorus?
thanx

Bought the CM2 recently. Very nice metal tones, only gripe is that you can't adjust bass/treb/mids individually, but it works for me.
Real good buy at $36 and u gotta love the retro style catalogue in the box :D and the battery! coolest 9V battery i've ever seen heehee

just bought a chorus yesterday for a friend

we got to play it extensively. sounds awesome on clean.

wide array of tones. can go from subtle to shimmery

Ok guys. Since i started this thread, i decided i shall have some input as well. Yesterday i bought a Fab Metal pedal. Gonna review it here.

Pros:

- Good sounding metal distortion. Suitable enough if you play Metallica and the like.
- Added sustain. With a good humbucker, you get longer note sustains.
- Blue LED light is very, very bright. You wont have probs finding it in on a dark stage.
- Cheap. At $27, it was really a steal.

Cons:

- Excessive buzzing at times. But could be down to my old cables, though.
- Plastic casing. But hey, it costs $27, right? :D

Overall rating: 7/10

Not much of a review (i'm not good at reviewing), but i hope this helps you guys should you consider getting this pedal. This is just a review from my view, so don't take it too seriously, ok? Haha...
Cheers!
:D
