Daita - Siam Shade

During the G3 tour in Japan Daita appeared as a guest artist.
Daita is my favourite guitarist cause he's fast, and the songs he writes are great. Anyone else a fan of Daita or Siam Shade?

Yeah, I'm trying to get Euphony.. But see it nowhere in Singapore... I would say he's better than tak Matsumoto..

check out "You" of janne da arc too, solid player, but nt as gd as Daita...

I got Siam Shade 9 A Side Collection, 8 B side collection and SS6 all in the last month. So far I think Tower Records in Suntec has the Siam Shade stuff. HMV doesn't.. Anyone know where to get Euphony, Daita's 2nd Album?

i've only gt "９　Ａ－ｓｉｄｅ　Ｃｏｌｌｅｃｔｉｏｎ", took me a long time to decide to buy it cuz it cost ard $55 if i rem correctly...its real gd but i still dun tink its worth the $55...tts y i havent gotten any of the other albums...

i dunno if u should compare them like that. Firstly i feel that Tak is more old school than Daita. Daita sounds more modern in the way he writes those songs. But he is awesome, no doubt. oh whatever lah, they both rocks. Nice to see people appreciating japanese rock music here.

yeah, both r great guitarists... Tak has got great tone, if really wana compare.. i tink their on pare wif each other...

Yeah, Tak is old school, but listening to his stuff, like in the album Dragon from the West, his slow stuff didn't have the touch that Daita has in songs like Life or Love.

i dont fancy japanese music..the only japanese band i like is Loudness cause they play 80s hair and sing in english lol.

i've got all of SS albums thanks to my friends for a big bday present, Euphony can get from jap online stores like cdjapan. Big Daita fan here, but anyway there's no way of comparing Tak and him. 2 very different styles, but all excellent players nonetheless :wink:
