Cymbal Stands Repair

Any recommendations for cymbal stand repairs?

Have one busted tightening nut, and a few of joints which have come unstuck.

Joints coming unstuck, what do you mean? Like the rubber grip loosening or what?

I think you can buy the screws and other spare parts. I recall seeing some at Ranking. If that doesn't work, you can try buying parts of the stand.

Also, if all that doesn't work, do you need to move the stand around? If you don't mind it being in the same position permanently and you're not using it to perform, you can try using masking tape to secure it.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Have managed to cross thread the wing nut on one. On another managed to pull the "enf joint" off one of the pipes.

Very frustrating. Drum shops suggest buying a new one (of course). Am used to getting them repaired.
