Custom Designs on Guitars..

A few questions guys:

Where can I buy like individual parts of the guitar.. like the neck or the body..

thinking of doing up a custom strat... would like to buy an unfinished body.. probably either swamp ash or alder..

Would the type of paint I use on the wood affect the tone of the guitar??

What kind of paints have you guys used before? or what would you recommend? What do you use to finish?

as for paints, its best u leave it with the paintjob artistes to do. u could try Customwerkz... they do custom paintjobs at gd prices
