Looks like a one piece body from the pics. Neck is flame maple and body is swamp ash. As for the manufacturer, I'm really not sure. The neck radius might be a give away though. If its flatter than 9.5" perhaps it could be mighty mite or WD. I'm just guessing. However, I sure hope it sounds as good as it looks. Congrats on the acquisition.

hehe, nice foot. (2nd pic)

btw, i think this is natural finish..

man, lindy fralins cost a bomb!!

Looks like a one piece body from the pics.

arent those like extremely expensive...?

lol..thanks santa!!~ i didnt even realise it till now!~ my bad~~ i dunno how expensive this was to built..it would be a shame not to know

did u get it for $950?

this was made by NNG, if I'm not wrong. I'm not certain the prev owner surfs the forums. I tried the guit b4, sounds pretty good, esp w the fralins. =)

Ah well.

I recall a recent thread discussing such things....

Nice ash body... its 2 piece right? The 4th photo shot shows a different coloured upper portion.

IMHO (and i stress, In My Humble Opinion),

it might be a Korean-made Fender 'Lite Ash' Tele with an aftermarket neck.

The body finish and hardware look like those on the Lite Ash tele's i've seen and played at Swee Lee.

here's some examples.

Reissue Telecaster Customs always have body bindings, and never come with maple necks (rosewood fingerboard only), and don't have abalone inlays, so it's pretty obvious the 'Custom Telecaster' was a seperate decal.

I can safely say that there are no original Fenders that come stock in this configuration with this headstock decal. This is definately a parts guitar.

If its not a reparted Fender Lite Ash Tele, it might be a thai-luthier-made guitar.

i hope you didn't buy it thinking it was an original stock Fender. if you got it at a good price, then it's a good buy for what it is.

Besides all that, it's a nice guitar. :D

once again, IMHO.

It's a custom made guitar from thailand...the owner let me try it out. And he wasn't trying to pull a fast one by selling it as a Fender, he just put it up for consignment at GC. Cool dude.

Ah.. ok.. cool stuff.

nice guitar!

but I must say the korean lite ash fender u found really resembled it =)

Yea the guitar sounds and feels pretty good, and the material and workmanship is good, esp for the price GC was selling it at.

Have fun w the guit!

thanks guys for your kind input...it does play great other then the light scruff marks on the body. Wish i got it at a better price..haah...kenneth do you happen to have the owner's contact? 8)

thanks guys for your inputs!~ contacted the original owner and all doubts and queries answered!~
