Tired? yes. Jaded? Sometimes. Satisfaction Level? Pretty high.
I guess it is the only job where i can say has more more joy than any job i previously held.
Teaching kids who are motivated, or even seniors who really reaally try their best gives me the most satisfaction. Its that look in their eyes that tells it all. the "hey finally Im able to play tt" look.
Primary school classes always gives me much happiness. 40 kids in a class. And when all the instruments are in tune and they play as a class, wow, the feeling is wow.
I always felt that an instrument is a life long thing, i really hope that in a child's life, I somehow have influenced them in a positive way. Take music as a stress buster, when others dont understand you. Play music, live life to the fullest.
