i was tinking of getting a craftsman bass that's gd and cheap. anybody noe some gd models?? pls tell me how much and where to get it. oso, if u could include a recommendation for bass amp that wld be great.. and i was juz wondering,my fren told me a bass amp can be used for electric guitars as well..iz dat true??

yup that's true but most bass amp has no on-board overdrive, if you are relying on this for guitar, better to get a guitar amp.

em... as an alternative to the Craftsman, you might wanna consider this Samick Fairlane bass, not even $250 + well built/ good sounding...

the craftsman FJ-10 jazz bass

2 X J single coil pickups
alder body

if you are looking for an amp to practise with, the Peavey Microbass is one heck of a bass amp, despite being dimunititve...

I have a Peavy MicroBass amp...
not bad .... since you getting jazz bass ....
i believe . you wanna get that kinda "bottom" sound ... quite good ~

The only prob is the Hi eq knob,
when you play ur bass ... and twist the HI knob ... like no diff ...
but ... when i use the drum loops on it .... gotta turn down............
like ... the range for high ... is too high ... hahahaha ~!

hey thanx..but i forgot 1 thing..could ya tell me where to get da basses and amps?? and around how much izzit?

Citymusic ... for Craftsman...

compare the prices and test out the basses 1st la ...
no point rushing into things ~
if it's a few $ more for something alot better ... why not ???
but then again ... if it's alot less ... and same or better quality .. why not ??
hahahahahahha
