i think it would be more worth it to get a new guitar unless that guitar really is your sweetie, like you can't live w/o it lidat.

yup i agree, better to get a new guitar than to repair it unless it really means something to you. maybe a few hundred bucks to replace it because i think u nid to replace the whole neck.

you can always head down to / call guitar connection to ask for a quotation. it is quite a common problem with les pauls cos I always see them fixing up broken epiphone headstocks.

see whether its more worth it to fix the headstock or just get a brand new guitar. its your choice.

You can also head to Guitar Workshop...Bras basah....I think 2nd floor....Mr. Francis Poh is a very nice guy to talk to...I sent my Gibson studio there when my strap pin broke....good workmanship and very reasonable price....

my friend had a similar case with the headstock...it was hanging by a few strands of wood. He told me that he repaired it for $80 and some more for post-repair care.

AND SORRY for hijacking this thread....but just wanna ask is it worth it to re-finish a guitar?? Im currently using a faded SG so it does not have that smooth shiny surface. So was just thinking if its ok to do the re-finish how much would it cost?

My friends have had their guitar headstocks snapped off before. One solution is to get a luthier to fix the whole neck which imo isn't very worth it. May as well jsut get a new guitar for the price that you're paying unless that guitar really really really means something to you.

hmm thanks guys.
but if the cost is say less then 100bucks?
ill most probably get it fixed.
and pictures are up. access the damage

lol i think u dint quite get wad the ts said.
his headstock kinda broke into half lol

oooops i was referring to Avonova's question about the finish =x

about the headstock.. i think better buy new guitar la haha. after you repair le the guitar will never be the same again.
