Considering getting a fixed bridge

hey guys.... i'm wanna get a fixed bridge guitar but i'm not too sure wad to get.... can u recommend some to me? budget is abt 1k.... and i've been eyeing the epiphone 56 goldtop les paul at swee lee... like the soap bar... thanx

seeing that you are an Ibanez kinda person, i'd have these to recommend:

if u have a Strat style guitar, why not start off by blocking the trem.

U just need to insert a small block of wood in between the bridge block and the body. It doesn't even need glueing.

Hipshot tremsetter. As good as turning your bridge into a hardtail, with all the advantages of added sustain etc, but still leaving you options to use the trem when you want it.
