well, i dont think the dipper is still on anw. i went to a branch yesterday and i noticed that they usually didnt turn on the tap to the dipper. instead they used a container to collect all the used spoons and washed them after theres a bunch. i think its a lesson learnt.
no use flaming them or comparing which coffee is better or even to other beverages. everyone is entitled to their opinions, chillax aite.
how bout we change the topic to something less depressing? like tell everyone whats your favourite starbucks beverage? hell, any beverage? mods and customisations is any.
mine's triple grande hazelnut extra hot caramel macchiato by starbucks. or teh peng with whipcream(only for some stalls, if they allow uh) sounds good.

They do? Oh i had a friend that works in starbucks and he advised me not to eat the pastries as they can stay for as long as they dont look bad.. Sorry for the bad info i had.. Haha cheers

hmm...maybe u shouldnt rely on 2nd hand info...and i believe ur fren is like a noob or havent been long enuff in the company to know well enuf?? or is like an empty vessel?
and as for ahtiao..mentioned that the pastries go the day they are displayed..so, means that the pastries are not "recycled" for the next day or when it is no longer within it's holding period?? wats the negative side of it then? why the fuss? if ur like dissin the company, y ur werkin for them? if u are still in dat is.. ;-) juz my thoughts and no means of dissin anyone ya.. ;-)
but whatever it is..my guess is dat they're bein picked cuz of the brand name...what if it's our coffee shop under void deck? would there be a big fuzz made? wanna talk abt the environment etc...?? go to the road side and observe.. ;-)

in due fairness, Starbucks had stopped their ill ways in cleaning used utensils. good for them.
however, the fact that a big name like this coffee joint, needed public exposure to be mindful of their wasteful ways, goes to show that high profile doesn't guarantee sensibilities.
