Computer Stereo sound-out Port to Monitor Speakers Pair?

Hi all,

need some help on where i could get the convertor?
I read that you need a "stereo to left/right adapter" to use a pair of active monitor speakers?

Stereo Minijack signal into Left and Right quarter-inch connections?

Where can i get a product similar to this and how much is it roughly?

There is a shop at sim lim tower that can custom make for you if you cant find off the shelve over there.

You can just go to the UF Technology shop at sim lim square. Get a 1/8" to rca converter cable like this. Then, buy 2 rca male to 1/4" male converters like these.

Should cost around $10 to $15.

Btw, you should really get a real audio interface if you want to maximize those monitors.

I don't understand, why buy 3 items?

Luther has a custom cable shop in Excelsior basement (not the main shop) between Guitar 77 and Woodwerkz there, should be able to tdo this for a reasonable price.
