Comfortabily Numb ( Instrumental interpretation )

I get goosebumps when it reaches 4.38, haunting solo man!

My all time favourite, I'm comfortabily numbed.. hehe

Ok what efx pedals you use for this?

*Thumbs up!

:p

hi eieio,

thanks for listening and your encouraging words.

i use the AX5G for effects...and a healthy dose of volume (which explains the crazy noise level) to mask my technical deficiencies.

Hmm really all that with just an AX5, no kid? no amp mic up?

You seem like an old sch and down to earth kind of fella as well,

The feel beats deficiency anytime, if that is what you classify as your tech defying moment..

Me old vs boy here too, spent 4.5yrs @Tyrwhitt.. when bulldog was our discipline master? hehehe

Cheers mate!

?????wow,,,how did you know me from vs??? this is creepy....NOT you... but the situation :)

This is a fantastic interpretation of the Classic! Love it! Bring on more Pink Floyd! Great feel on the solo.

Thank you very much. Appreciate it!

Well, before Numb, I did Money as well, it's on my Soundclick too.

Just got hold of some more backing tracks online, will try making 'video' on some of those.

It's in your intro page, see here - Intro: RGX312L
Remember Groovemaker? opp. vs, was it at so called New World?

Hey MusicCameraAction cool stuffs you got going there, any plans to do a collaboration?
Say cut a short mv based on RGX312L compilation, towards indie/alternative/experimental direction?

:p

eieio, wow, ok, now i remember ...you lawyer? or got powderful research team? ...JK!!! :)

NO , I don;t know groovemaker. I was, and still am a mountain tortise...not really into the SCENE.
Yes, agree with you on MusicCameraAction's stuff.

The 'Ipanema' piece somehow remind me of Jeff Beck's jazz days...must be the electric piano sound :)

Haha yes I do have a team of researchers from Google, inc.
RGX still your main axe? Stock or modded? Care to share your AX5 setting?
Groovemaker was a pretty beat up studio, where we used to hangout after school to jam..

TIA
:p

Hi eieio,

my yamaha rgx321l is fully stocked, no mod whatsoever. i guess with all the digital processing, it really doesn't matter what kind of hardware the axe is...just a decent output pickup will do...and i am more than happy with the stock pick up that yamaha slapped on it :) by far, the most important feature of this axe is the super playability joint , which makes it so much easier to play at the higher frets. another key feature that makes me sound so much better than i actually am :D

hmmm, the ax5g settings....i set up a few different sounds when i bought it, it's been so long not that i can't recall the exact settings. but my main sound is using the 'shred' distortion sound. i only get the sound i want....as for the exact tone, i post eq it during mixing. so if you hear my stuffs, you'll find that all the gtr sounds are basically the same, just being eq-ed differently depending on the context of the song.

anyway, i am the last person in the world to be asking tone settings . as you can hear, i really suck at it...the amount of noise in my sound is too much for connoisseurs to bear .
