Clearing some mud off a SD '59n

Basically the mod introduces a hi pass filter between the series link. This mod is a variation on the bill lawrence coil split mod and has its disadvantages. The pickup will be slightly noisier after this mod is performed. Actually most of the time issues with 'mud' etc only happen to the cheapest stock pickups. Many people cling on to their guitars withour realising its their amps and guitar that is muddy. Sometimes changing a different plectrum will clean up the mud! Pickups are passive devices, they can't shape the tone unlike an active EQ.
