Hi,
Just a quick question. If I clean my fretboard using the dunlop lemon oil or any other lemon oil, do I still need to use the dunlop fretboard conditioner after that?

Assuming your on a dark wood, e.g rosewood fretboard?

You don't really have to I feel. We live in a rather damp locale. Our boards are not gonna dry out and loose it's looks so fast, besides it has been moisturized by the lemon oil. I feel it's just another product for us protectors of our precious to spend on.

The oil is to moisturize the fingerboard actually.
There's a proper solution from dunlop for cleaning.
Forgot the name...

Did you use very fine steel wool to dig out the dirt as well? thing about lemon oil is that it only works for rosewood or any grainy fingerboards.
