Hi guys, im trying to get a classical guitar with really warm sound. any recomendation? The damage i can take is pretty low, at most 300. Actually i have a cheaper classical guitar given by my sis(since she given up on guitar, its mine ahah), but the action is really dam wide, my pinky finger can pass through it barelytouching the stree on 12th fret! 8O Is all classical guitar action that dam wide? Anyway the width and thickness is alright to me. Anyway any certain strings for warmness? I got myself a new set of string (the nylon are coloured purple), it seems to be quite bright (which im not looking for). yeah.

Anyway, is a acoutic guitar easily to play? I played my friend acoutic, the action dont seems to be that high compared to my classical guitar. And can i put nylon strings on acoustic? How will it sound? And what fretboard is good for classical? I realise my was painted, can see the brown wood on first five frets

Before you settle for any classical or accoustic guitar, what kind of music do you want to play?

"tears in heaven" is played by EC in a Martin accoustic guitar, you may want to get accoustic guitar for similar fingerstyle or type of songs. Of course no harm using a classical to song a little 'different'. I'm got quite into some Sting and bossa nova songs recently, so I got myself a classical lately.

Accoustic neck has narrower fret width (IMO more modern feel).
Classical guitar string will not fit accoustic guitar because of the nut, and NEVER string accoustic strings on a classical. I suggest that you get a friend who has good accoustic guitar experience when u do the shopping.

Even better still borrow a cheap one from a friend to try first, which was what I did.
