CL semi finals

Ok ok. So guys (Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelski fans), who do you fancy crossing sword with in the semis. Being a liverpool fan, well all I can say come on Chelski cos we've beaten them twice in CL oreadi. Hoping for a third time lucky here. (Cross fingers and toes).
 
The current Chelsea team is beatable by anyone :cool:

Still, I'd rather play a bigger team like Barcelona or something, if the smaller teams make it through, they'll put up a tougher fight.

Haha you know what they say, 1st time unlucky, 2nd time unlucky, 3rd time lucky. I believe Chelski will bounce back. I hope that we play an entertaining team like Arsenal or Barcelona. Beating them will show we have the pedigree to beat the best of the best. I think the draw will go like this:

Man U vs Fenerbahce
Liverpool vs Barcelona
Schalke 04 vs Arsenal
Chelsea vs AS Roma

OR

Man U vs Liverpool
Schalke 04 vs Chelsea
Fenerbahce vs AS Roma
Barcelona vs Arsenal (2 entertaining teams.....shld be a crackler)


Note these are jus speculation.
 
But you see, 1st and 2nd time was under the same manager, now they've changed they have to go through the 3 times again. :D

Btw, when is the draw? Is it showing on TV? Around next week right?
 
honestly I'm an arsenal fan and I hope to avoid liverpool. Bring on MANC and chelski for all I care hahahahahahha.

seriously, this team can only do well in the champs league.
rafa is a european genius but domestically, not.
 
Are the quarter final draws automated in a certain way or are they totally random?

Cos I've known of first seeds and second seeds...

As far as I've known, Barcelona and Liverpool are first seeds. If they do draw at this rate, I think they will not face each other.

Hope Liverpool get a team that isn't English and Spanish.
 
i think its random, i know that group stages have the seeding of each club in play somehow but for knock out stages i dont think so already. just the fella dip his hand inside the bowl and fish out names:D

liverpool vs fenerbache, they failed to convince against galatasaray, so yeah.


i just want all-england semis, bt that may be jus a dream.
 
Group Stage -> 2nd round done in such a way that no 2 teams from the same country can play each other, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. And its 2nd team from this group, vs top team from the other group.
