chromatic scale

erhs hi, i'm currently learning scales and i'm on myself. i wish to learn chromatic scales, no very sure if that's how you people call it. those 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and higher and lower instead of A B C D E F G that kind. how to differenciate and play the high and low and medium of 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 on the guitar? you know there is some score that has this kind of scale instead of those tao gei thing, so i wish to play some song which is provide by these scale.. thanks o. btw, my language is lousy. pardon if you don't understand what i'm saying -.-

just keep on going up one fret by one fret then hit octave then u got the chromatic scale.

Try John Petrucci .. Bumble Bee ... It's got Chromatic written all over it. It's A Classical piece actually.

By the way ... Chromatic scale is not 1234567 ... it's 1 b2 2 b3 3 4 b5 5 b6 6 b7 7.

i'm not sure how chromatic scale works, but i assume it should be played with at least 3 adjacent note to sound nice... can't imagine jumping from note to note all over the fret in the "chromatic" scale... would sound terrible
