choosing amps

hi i'm looking for a amp tat works well with pedal

initially i was aiming for cube 30x but i heard it doesn't works well with pedals although
the cube has lots of efx but i looking for a amp tats works well more for footwork pedals

i play metal and my budget is around 400 to 500

any1 can recommend plz? thx alot
