China iPhone

Okay, so we've got 03 of these h/phones for the kids last year. They're very happy with it except for the earphones which has no "boom, boom, boom" to them (kids nowadays... sigh)

Anyway, we cant find any earphone adaptor that uses this particular connector so that we can try with a different brand of earphones (sony, philips etc). I called the shop we bought it from but they say theres no such product :(

so...
1. Does anyone know of a place where they do custom made adaptors for this purpose?

2. If anyone owns one of this phone, how do you get around this prblm?

Recommendations welcomed. Tks!

Heres some pics.
the headphones are connected to the slot at the base of the iPhone clone. (pic#4). There is NO headphone input jack at the top of the phone (like the real deal)
Pics #2 & #3 are what the connectors look like (micro USB?)

I dismantled/destroyed one of the connectors to see if i could DIY but the wires are too fine to work with.

Hope someone could shed a light or two.

I've just got myself a China phone which has similar iphone features. But mine, has a earphone jack on top. The hands-free piece comes with it sucks big time. But what can I say for $145....a wifi phone. My LG smart phone is not great either but I use the LG earpiece on my Chang Jiang phone and the music comes out really cool.

Sorry...just wanna share. Wow...you tried to dismantle the fine cables on the connection. That's almost impossible to solder back in place. Hehehe!! If you know the schematics, you can cut and joint that fine cables to a earphone instead of soldering the fine points. But still...you bound to damage the earphone too.

Good luck bro!!

TS, try Sim Lim Tower basement shops for the adapter? not sure if it's a common adapter though it does look similar to my friend's sony or LG..
gd luck
