+ What’s up everyone!
The Jager tour with Arch Enemy tour has been going fucking great. 99% of the shows have been super packed and the crowds have been amazing for all of the bands. This is a great package and we are making a ton of new friends.
Before the rumor mill starts going at full force, we wanted to let you know that we have amicably parted ways with Roadrunner Records. We asked to be let out of the contract and they graciously agreed to our request. We (Chimaira and Roadrunner) had not been seeing eye to eye on some key issues and came to a mutual agreement to end our relationship - and we are leaving on good terms with everyone there.
Bands change labels all the time, but in this day and age everyone on the internet is an industry expert and will come up with their own theories as to “what happened”. There is nothing more going on than what we already stated.
Having said that, we are sure some of you message board hounds will still take it upon yourselves to make up your own reasons of why we are not signed anymore, or your general opinion of us… so have at it.
Here is what we came up with for you:

“It’s about time RR dropped Chimaira and started signing real metal bands like D&D: The Snake Cult Apocalypse.”
“Fuck Roadrunner, first they drop Dislocated Styles now Chimaira? What are they thinking!!!!???”
“Chimaira sucked since This Present Darkness, they should go back to their old style and fuck all them nu-metal electronics”
“These guys are nu-metal fags who cares”
“Fuck these guys, they’re nothing without Talley… FEEETUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!”
“Roadrunner got wise because their faggot singer didn’t try to sound like Hetfield on that Metallica tribute That’s when Chimaira jumped the shark”
“Their last record was shite so that’s why they got dropped. Who cares if it got rave reviews and is selling faster than any other Chimaira release!”
“Their singer cut his dreads they sucked since then”
“I heard the 2 guitarists got engaged…to each other! Roadrunner hates fags!”

All joking aside, we would like to thank the entire Roadrunner staff worldwide for helping us accomplish all of our dreams. You are good friends and always will be.
