Cheap Clean Tube Amp

Hmm, HT-5 isn't a full tube amp, but even at 2nd hand prices it doesn't fit into the 300-400 range?(can't really remember)

Mm, I wanna get the distortion/OD from my pedals.

From what I remember about the HT-5, the 3-band EQ is for the distortion channel only.

yup it isnt a full tube amp, but the sound imo beats the ac4tv hands down in terms of warmth. and the 3 band eq is not just for the drive channel. its a shared eq, means its for both channels.

Never used this myself but have heard / read many good things about it on reviews online and you tube videos. May be a wee bit beyond your budget but worth checking it out I guess. This dude Sean (96261687) should be able to help sort you out with one I suppose, as he represents Behringer's distributors in Singapore.

The Blackheart seems to fit your bill. Though i believe the 5-watt (BH5H) is more than $400.
So what we are all trying to say here..

Blackstar HT-5 is definately good.

a 2nd hand blackheart is around 400...even less if ur lucky enough to find 1. sold mine for 350

one thing to note. while i prefer the sound of the blackstar over the blackheart, i must say the blackstar is more picky when it comes to pedals.
