Both guitars in the pictures look like dreadnoughts to me, just that the black Martin has a single cutaway.

Colour is secondary at that budget. I would recommend Takamine acoustics from Beez. If your luck is good you might get one with the colours you want.

The bigger the merrier for me. Big bodies have got more bass. i.e. they moan louder.

I have no idea what's a stimulator... Dun dare to imagine

Well, if you just wanna practice at home, thn there are actually plenty of acoustic in that price range. i've got one for <150 from the shop at paradiz and they sell quite alot of acoustic guitars at your budget range so maybe you'd like t check it out :)

hmm im pretty small sized actually, so i was wondering if audi is better haha. beez is at east coast right? too far from my house.. living at the west :( where is paradiz? :D

You play too little computer games. Paradiz is at Douby Ghout, a haven for lan game zombies (those 21hrs for $8 lan packages people like I used to)

Its ok for a guitar to look big. Girls playing bass is a turn on for me

Yea Beez is at east coast, specifically roxy square 2.

i bought a jack and danny one for my friend , 220 bucks at peninsular basement (the old guitar77) . Very nice guitar , very playable and sounds awesome .

I'd go with zax on that one! For a guitar below 200 you can try out the Jack and Danny series.

I can safely vouch that J&D's trusted in sound.

Or if you're too cheapskate, you can try Congress?

Below $200?

Custom Acoustics at City Music
Lando acoustics at Guitar77
Samick acoustics at Davis Guitar

I've tried all those , for 200 bucks , the best quality comes from the JnD Guitars . Solid tops and comfortable necks . Most importantly , the sound good . Oh and relatively light string tension.

Speaking of J&D, I've played only one so far, and it was a $400 12-string acoustic with electronics. I must say it was really damn sweet... It would be with me right now if I was willing to suffer the trouble of using a 12-string. Personally I haven't tried Landos and Custom Acoustics. In fact, I'd actually recommend a guitar over $200 at the very cheapest if you want a quality guitar.

I also saw this dreadnought J&D at Novelty Music. Very interesting, I'd say. From what I can see, it has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The entire guitar has a satin, dull natural finish, and there is Chinese-style dragon ingravings on parts of the top. Didn't get to play it but it really looked striking and didn't look cheap, most of all.

Yup, on the overall I'd recommend J&D as well.
