Watching Metallica now in London...started with Sad But True and now they're doing Nothing Else Matters....FUH!

MSN is great, they're telecasting all the concerts so you can toggle between venues. And after the concert is over, you can watch it again. Managed to catch Crowded House in Sydney...man, I'm glad they got back together.

"Make a noise if you give a shit!" : Hetfield.

Channel5 is showing this Live Earth today (8th July) 6am to 7pm...
First time ever, i think, that there's such a telecast of a single programme for 13 hours non-stop, recorded telecast though.

hmm,, is that pathetic?

Dun you think it's very ironic that a global event which uses so much energy just to make a statement about conserving and saving Earth?

I answered the call, alright .

I didn't catch it at all.

'so much energy' relative to the future reduction in energy consumption brought about by live earth?

well its still too early to tell if its 'so much energy'

AgingYouth: You've got a point, but like hifikiller said, the impact that it would bring would probably make up for that, and lots more. If these 24 hours can show how the world can unite, and how hard the people in organizations are willing to work for a cause they believe in, then i think it's pretty worth it.

It's kinda inspiring to me, anyway. And I'll bet it motivates a lot more people to start working on energy saving as well.

Just my two cents. :)
