Changing placement of handles on an amp

Just wondering cause no one's seem to have posted this before:

Has anyone changed the placement of their amp handles? I like the way Vox fixes their handles at the edge of the amp as such:

My current amp is a 55lb monster and has one handle in the middle (like most normal amps). I don't get why designers would think that we would be able to carry these with one hand. It's far more ergonomic to have the handles on the side, so that when you lift the amp, the load is evenly distributed and prevents back problems.

Guitar amps would fail the safety requirements at my work place lol.

I never used the handle as it leads to poor back posture. It tells people to bend over and pick up the amp by the handles, which can and will lead to back problems. I bend my knees and pick up the amp as though I am cradling it like a baby.

Haha I can relate to that. Babies don't cross the 50lb mark though.
