Dimarzios are passives.
If you'd like 2 guitars so you can use one for a backup, then get another. I don't know what's your budget like but if you're looking at a low to middle range instrument, then you might want to think about this. Do i want 2 guitars that sound "average" or, do i want just one guitar that sounds great?
Then again it's subjective, some guitars sound good the way it is stock.

Which is a better pick the ibanez Ar-300 or the hamer studio custom?.. i jz need another guitar for home use.. any suggestions?.. any other guitars with the same type of body?..
