Change of pickups help!!

Hey guys! I was wondering would it be possible to replace my Bart soapbar pups to a pair of Seymour Duncan J-pups?? Apart from that, would I also need to change the EQ? My bass is an Ibanez SR755 btw

yes you could, but with unsightly gaps. no need for a preamp swap unless you aint satisfied with the sounds you're getting.

Yeah I was thinking about the gap that would be exposed too. Would it then be possible to house the Seymours in a soapbar casing? If that's possible, then would the housed-pups be affected?

Seymour Duncan website has all the dimensions of thepickups. Measure yours then check which one fits.
Their customer service is extremely helpful, if you e-mail them they might be able to recommend something.
