Chan Min - Vox Tonelab om

I like the 'weirdness' of the song!
and yea, the SE does sound warmer than the other multi-EFX i've heard.

very gd work i would say...very gd choice of notes, sounded somehow mediterranean like. maybe tt's just me

thanks for listening guys!

i must say the UAN band's full version sounds better... and less weird la.. haha
still looking for bassist!

this one is a different approach ma.. going for british poppy thing.. with some solos thrown in...

the labamba is turbo chicken's magic le...

nice track, nice tone, nice playing... u have really nice control. not overplayed, nice phrases too, vey pro... i love the whole playing. nice layering of the guitar tracks. it would be nice if the drums is a little bit softer, coz some guitar parts can't be heard clearly. some parts reminds me of "message in a bottle".

really, really nice. like it lots...

ps. i keep writing nice, hmmmmm...

hey thanks for listening man ...

my playing sounded quite... unconfident.. alot of stuttering and pauses.. haha
need to play more guitar!!! get my technique back!!!!

must tweak the tonelab for better sounds... havent gone thru the manual...

haha... ok u do sound rusty on this... heard u on better days. (or maybe because you're recording and feel stiff, i get that all the time)

Would do well with more fast phrasings somewhere in between... hehe... you're one of those who actually don't shred that much on OM solos! :p

yep the vox tonelab really sounds good. just wondering, does it capture pick attack well? this distorted tone sounds more saturated and compressed... can't really tell.

nice stuff... if every other tone on the tonelab sounded this good, it would definitely be a better buy than GT6. (lest maybe the GT6 features... but well tone comes as a higher priority for most people.)

yea man..really rusty.. i saw the hay88 sweep demo and i was just like... damn i need to get back into this... ARGH

but im trying to make my soloing stuff sound more ... sincere... having build up and dynamics etc... thats why im thinking alot when i play... so some times its hard to really get into the groove...esp since my rythm guitar track wasnt really in time also..hahah.. anyway this multi tracking thing is tough man.

anyways thank you all for listening! will be back with more!!!
and its only gonna get BETTER.

Chanmin - why don't you lay back a bit... i think doing that's a bit tensed-up. try to think in terms of fast, slow, smooth, furious kinda idea, maybe that'll help. :)

try to also hit the 1st note correctly... i notice your 1st note lags (very likely because you're concentrating on making it happen. if you can't get into that groove, skip it and try to hit on the offbeat instead... that'll give you an edge in your soloing.
