CEVIN FISHER (NYC)

New York has played home to some legendary music venues, from the Paradise Garage, Zanzibar, The Loft to the sorely missed Twilo...And one guy was in the thick of it all as a teen: Cevin Fisher. One of the world's most respected and prolific master house producers and DJs, Cevin was first inspired to start DJing by watching his heroes Tony Humphries, Larry Levan and Francois K. At 16, he picked up his first gigs at loft parties and college one-offs before finally getting his first regular break as a warm-up for Zanzibar resident Larry Paterson on Friday nights a year later in New Jersey.

After that, there was only really one place he could head for... New York City! Cevin went to work in the top recording studios in New York, sharpening his skills that would make him the incredible producer that he became. “The Way We Used to Do It,” “The Freaks Come Out,” “House is a Feeling,” “You Got Me Burning Up,” “Love You Some More” and on and on. There are very few people whose name is synonymous with the term “house anthem” …but all these tracks were created by one man – Cevin Fisher.

“My biggest inspiration comes from being immersed in music in the DJ booth and being able to express myself by sharing that feeling with fans on the dance floor. That is the ultimate high.”
