Carvin amps?

I've been scouting around for a new head + cab rig and heard some great things about the Carvin BX500.

Anyone knows where I can try my hand at this? Looked at the shop listing but didn't see anyone bringing in Carvin amps.

I bought a TS-100 directly from the Carvin website and got it shipped via FedEx (S$200 for shipping roughly). It arrived without any problem straight to my door in 1 week. The service from the Carvin people via email was excellent, very friendly and efficient.

Otherwise, there's this shop in Bras Basah (Ranking Sports and Music on L3) that distributes Carvin amps. They had a Vai Legacy 2HP couple of weeks ago... I went to see them last time but got told there was a 3 month delivery leadtime...

Problem when you get stuff delivered is you can't try it before hand... also check the voltage of the piece you order carefully as they might offer both 110V and 220V (european markets).

Ah I see. Will check out Rankin as the amp I want is on three month backorder.

there seems to be a lot of love for Carvin amps on TB...might be worth checking out before choosing my amp rig. let us know if Ranking has any, cool-beans!
