Im getting a new board soon and i need to carpet it. Any idea where to buy high quality carpet? black is best. the price range, brand and shops will do. thanks in advance.

Also, how should i go about carpeting my new board? and what handles whould i get for the sides?

goto any of the shops that do car audio/speaker installations and ask for the carpet they use to cover the inside of the trunk..it doesnt cost much and they'll probably give you for free anyway..

Does velcro really hold the boxes down?

I use wire ties and attach them onto the board itself, mainly cos i don't tweak my pedal setup much and its easier to clean than carpet.

Allergic to dust, so i'd stay away from carpet.

What I did was drill holes into a piece of plywood where the ties would go, then set the stuff down and tie them.

DIYing is fun.

Good luck on finding your carpet. And car audio shops are a good place to start. Or else, you might wanna try office furnishing shops.

velcro does actually hold the pedals down, and very well at that. ive been using it for ages and it holds wahs and EB volume pedals down easily.

Bro, as for where to find carpets, you can look for any place doing office renovation, ask around. but its hell to cut man. the office carpets work better than those in car boots though. but i guess it depends on how much velcro you actually put on the bugger.
