Hope you've resolved this issue. When posting such stuff, it might be a good idea to provide more details as to what you mean -- do the icons appear and not open, or do you just not see them? What happens when you click them? Have you already tried anything to solve the issue, if so what -- for instance, have you tried using windows shortcuts like START+E to My Computer? If so, what happens then.. etc.
