Will you, indie, metal, rock, blues, jazz, funk, hardcore n whatever-core etc guitar players, replace compression, EQ, noise gate, modulation, pitch, delay stompboxes for the All-in-one guitar solution TC Nova System if you have the dough?

think you left out the drive section...? For pure modulation needs you can get the Nova Modulator. You'd still need a delay though.

I'm quite interested to get more feedback on the Nova system. The only reason why I wouldn't go to the Nova System is that I really like my current analog drive pedals that I use with my G System. The Nova System does sound like it can miniaturize one's board into a convenient unit.

there are some quirks thus far though - you've prob read abt 'em on TGP as well. one e.g. is that the activation of efx happens on the stomp release rather than stomp down. Give them time to iron out the quirks, and this should be a pretty sweet unit. I'm lovin my G, so this shouldn't be any shabbier. :D

I actually am looking for a rack based effects processor, that will accept both line level and instrument level input.

Mainly for reverb and delay, and as yet probably only lexicon offers such a unit at a commendable price.

Although after looking at the nova system... all i can say is wow...

lightice - may i recommend the TC Elec M350. check it out. think it may suit your needs. am using it myself and am very happy with the verb and delay. and its pretty cheap too.

sounds good to me. there's a tap tempo function as well. i prefer the delays on this unit as compared to some pedals i've owned previously or heard before. its a good unit i feel, well worth the price. :)

I like the inclusion of the drive section. And the quirks that u meant..i dont see it as a problem. It only happens when you're in pedal mode. In preset mode, you dont have to hold onto the switch.

I read the manual, if u buy the optional G-Switch, u dont have to press and hold to change preset in pedal mode.

Hm, I thought I read that the effect/preset is not activated on the press of the button, but on the release of the button. It's not a big deal, it's just that ppl have to learn to get used to that. With other systems (G-system, X3live, GT10, stompbox setup) the effect comes on when you click on it.

I'm tempted to try it out, just cos of its sheer compactness and functionalities. But I think it's hard to replace what my current OD/Dist pedals offer me, thus I'm not jumping ship just yet.

hmmm .. i been following that thread for a week or two now...

i think it would be wise to wait for awhile before getting one... :)
let them sort out the little quirks in the software first...
