Can I use an amp in Japan?

I'm planning on buying a Roland Cube 15x from Swee Lee but I want to be able to use it in Japan. Does anybody have any experience with this? Obviously I will need to use an adapter to switch from 3 pins to two pins but will I need a transformer? Is the voltage different? Is using a transformer bad for my amp?
